Cuernavava Townhomes is a quiet peaceful community comprised of 41 luxurious townhomes in the heart of Scottsdale. The community was built in 1975—1978, and is located just North of Lincoln Drive on Scottsdale Rd. The homes feature one level and two-story units comprised of two-and three-bedroom floor plans. Homes range in size from 1,808 to 4,100 square feet all with a two-car garage. Many homes have been completely remodeled inside.
 
Cuernavaca is centrally located in the Scottsdale Resort Corridor. In the immediate area there are large resorts such as Mountain Shadows, Camelback Inn, McCormick Ranch, Scottsdale Plaza, and Ritz Carlton. The McCormick Stillman Railroad Park as well as many restaurants and boutique shops are a short walk. Old Town Scottsdale and Fashion Square mall are minutes away.
 
This gated community has a resort style pool and spa with a covered ramada and grilling area.  A well-equipped clubhouse has a full kitchen, large lounge area, and pool table. The spacious area also has an adjoining covered deck overlooking the two lighted tennis courts (and pickle-ball) courts. Downstairs there is a well-equipped fitness center with a sauna, shower and restroom.
 
The community has established lush green spaces that contain indigenous plantings and trees. This is neighborhood that suits many needs, whether you choose to live here all year, or lock and leave.

Driveway Maintenance

Notice of Upcoming Driveway Maintenance
 
Dear Cuernavaca Residents,                                                                                                
The HOA Board has approved a community wide  driveway maintenance policy.  Driveway maintenance is long overdue, and these updates are necessary to address aging surfaces and structural wear. The existing driveways are over 50 years old and are in significant need of repair and renewal for many homeowners.
 
As part of this maintenance program, residents will have the option to upgrade to pavers or to stain the existing cement driveway. While pavers involve a higher upfront cost, they are more durable and require minimal maintenance over time. Residents with deeply cracked or deteriorating driveways may want to seriously consider this option as a long-term, cost-effective solution.
 
All driveway must be updated with either stain or pavers by November 1, 2026. Please submit the attached Driveway Maintenance Submittal Form prior to starting work. Work may be halted if a form is not on file, and fines may be assessed if approval was not given prior to beginning work.
 
During the driveway maintenance timeframe, each homeowner will be allowed to park on the street overnight until work is complete. You will not be able to drive on a newly stained driveway for 48 hours. The paver installation will take longer. Please include your timeframe, and the make, model and license plate number of your car so we do not cite you for overnight parking during this time.
